A power outage in the Corpus Christi area has caused over 2,800 customers to be without power on Wednesday afternoon.
Areas impacted include the Waldron Field area and Yorktown area of Flour Bluff and Holly and Weber of Corpus Christi proper.
Customers may likely be without power for at least a few more hours, according to the utility.
A spokesperson for the utility said that crews are on site working to restore services.
They have not identified a cause.
