Rockport, Texas--The office of Vice President Mike Pence has confirmed that the Vice President will be visiting Rockport, Texas on Wednesday to mark the one year anniversary of Hurricane Harvey.
Vice President Pence will be at the First Baptist Church of Rockport where he will meet with FEMA staff and disaster services volunteers who have been helping with restoration and clean up with the storm since it made landfall nearly one year ago.
The Vice President is also expected to deliver brief formal remarks before departing for Houston for some other scheduled events.
This is the same church that the Vice President has visited during his previous visit following Hurricane Harvey.
