Breaking News: Nueces County Court Decides To Rescind Courthouse Restoration Deal

Corpus Christi, Texas--Nueces County Commissioners Court voted on Monday to unanimously rescind an agreement with a developer to restore the 1914 Nueces County Courthouse. The developer, who has yet to formally comment, had until last Friday to pay some $1.6 million dollars in back taxes for the building. For unknown reasons, the developer did not follow through with the terms set out by the court and Nueces County Judge Lloyd Neal.

This is a developing story.
